Week 10

Good afternoon parents,Welcome to week 10 (yep, already!!).

This week we are continuing our poetry unit after writing our chocolate Haiku on Friday.  We will continue exploring different types of poems. In maths we are exploring chance as we examine what this is and what it means. Tomorrow we will be building our devices to slow the melting of an iceblock, so if your child hasn't brought in materials to do this, please assist them to remember their equipment for tomorrow.

Homework
Homework this week will include spelling and reading as normal.  Our maths however, will involve practicing the 2, 3 and 4 times tables. This link will help with practicing these

Reminders
Cross Country
On Wednesday (the 1st of July) we have our annual our cross country carnival. We ask that your child come to school in their coloured faction shirt ready for the day. Mr Lee has sent out information on this event, with the carnival expected to be finished by recess time.

End of term
As you may be aware, Friday 3rd of July is our last day of term (Yay!). We return to school Monday 20th of July.

Thanks for your ongoing support
Mr Mc
